Product search using Brand data

It seems that the search function is currently not using any assigned Brand name data.

It would however be no more than logical that Product name and (optionally assigned) Brand name are both used as source data for Product search results:

Someone looking for 'Apple' would currently not find anything on a site that sells 'iPad', 'iPhone, 'MacBook', ... Even if every of those products has 'Apple' as Brand name assigned to it.

Feature Request: please include Brand names to the search data used for Products.

As you know, we prioritize requests based on the number of votes they receive. Therefore, we must wait to see if this request is needed to be implemented.
